How to clear the Cache and App Data

In the process of using the application, the occupied space on the device increases and can reach large sizes. To reduce the amount of memory occupied on the device, you can clear the cache or app data.

Clear cache

A cache is an on-device storage for temporary application data. It allows the application to run faster without wasting time loading data from the server. The Eyrene cache stores photos downloaded from the server, help for visit tasks, information about visits and points of sale.

If there is not enough space on the Android device to take a photo or update data, clear the application cache.

  1. Open Settings and select Storage.
  2. In the resulting list, tap the Apps entry (Other Apps on Android 11 and earlier).
  3. Choose the Eyrene app.
  4. On the app's info page, tap the Clear Cache option.

Clear data

The data of the application stores photos from visits, master data, authorization data, and user data, such as the history of visits. Over time, this data may begin to take up a lot of space on the device. For example, 1.5 Gb.

Attention Wiping app data may result in the loss of user data, such as browsing history from this device. Use app data wipe as a last resort.

  1. Open Settings and select Storage.
  2. In the resulting list, tap the Apps entry (Other Apps on Android 11 and earlier).
  3. Choose the Eyrene app.
  4. On the app's info page, tap the Clear App Data option.

After clearing the app data, the application will ask you to log in and will start receiving the master data from the server.
